Pastor Hermie Thomas is a native of Corpus Christi, TX. Being the son of a Pastor and devoted mother, Hermie was raised in the church but did not accept his call into ministry until late 2002. Shortly after being licensed as a minister the Lord began to speak to him concerning his purpose in ministry. A powerful and anointed preacher, pastor Thomas has been called to disciple and teach servant leaders how to live their everyday life for Christ while empowering a generation of believers to take a stand against the powers at hand that sets itself against the knowledge of Christ.

Derek Stevenson, Sr. is no stranger to hard work in ministry.  His journey with Christ began in 1984 at St. Agnes Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, TX, where he got saved and baptized at the age of 7 years old.  Derek’s journey in ministry also began at a young age.  In 1993 at the age of 16, Derek joined the Christian rap group Y.D.O.C. (Young Disciples of Christ) and began to use his gifts to reach other youth.  His best friend and current Pastor, Dexter Utley was a founding member of YDOC.

Loranda Hellen-Thomas, Rph is a virtuous woman of God who has a heart and love for God’s people. She is a founding member and serves as an Elder overseeing New Members Ministry at Art of Living Community Church. Currently she is attending Fuller Theological Seminary where she is attaining a Master’s of Arts Degree in Theology. As Co-Founder of New Life Outreach Ministries, her life long dream of becoming a Life Coach serving alongside her husband in ministry is finally a reality.

Cathy Brown was born in Houston, Texas, from a generation of Christian believers.  She attended Jack Yates high schools in the Third Ward area. Struggling to stay in school, Cathy graduated high school at the age of fifteen years old.  With a personal mentor she plunged forward into Business College graduating with honors.  She proceeded to seek a career at the age of eighteen with the Department of Homeland Security (former legacy- Immigration and Naturalization Service.)
